About Crosstown Concerts

Crosstown Concerts is one of the UK's leading independent live music promoters, putting on 600+ shows a year across 1,000+ venues,  from grassroots clubs to arenas. We work with artists at every stage of their career and pride ourselves on doing things properly, at pace, with a small team.

The Role

We're hiring a Marketing Coordinator to drive creative email and social media campaigns across Crosstown events, including festival brands Bristol Sounds and Ritual Union. You'll also play a key role across print distribution, venue marketing coordination and general administrative tasks for marketing campaigns.

This is a hands-on role: you'll be the glue between the marketing team, venues, suppliers, and audiences. It suits someone organised, proactive, and genuinely into live music who wants to build a career in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  1. • Invoices: raising, tracking, and reconciling marketing spends across show portfolios; keeping budgets accurate and suppliers paid on time.

  1. • Social Media: researching and implementing creative and engaging social media strategies tapping into current trends (with our guidance) across Instagram, Facebook & TikTok. Creating Facebook events, scheduling and posting announcements, on-sale, and reminder content across Crosstown's social channels in line with campaign plans.

  1. • Email Marketing: build targeted and creative email campaigns for on-sales and show reminders, alongside general mail-outs to wider audiences. Monitor email performance and use data to segment audiences in order to maximise customer engagement and drive sales.

  1. • Print & Local Distribution: Organising local poster, flyer, and venue print distribution. Liaising with our design team with creation of posters, flyers, as well as national/local print ads.

  1. • Venue Announce Tracking: checking venues are announcing shows correctly and on time across their own channels (web, socials, email), and chasing where needed.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  1. • Strong organisational skills and comfortable juggling a high volume of tasks across many shows at once

  1. • Confident written communication: you'll be dealing with venues, suppliers, and internal teams constantly

  1. • Familiarity with the major social platforms (Facebook, Instagram & TikTok) and an understanding of how artist/event marketing works on them

  1. • A genuine interest in live music and the UK touring landscape

  1. • Accuracy and attention to detail, particularly around finance (invoices) and data (CRM)

  1. • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and flag problems early

Desirable

  1. • Previous experience in a promoter, agent, venue, label, management or festival environment (paid, intern, or voluntary)

  1. • Working knowledge of Audience Republic (or equivalent CRM/ESP), Meta Business Suite, and basic design tools (Canva, Photoshop)
